Impartiality Policy

Our commitment to objective certification.

"We do not sell, we certify."
- We do not sell, we certify.

Statement of Impartiality

Gcert.UK Top Management is committed to impartiality in management system certification activities. We understand the importance of impartiality in carrying out our management system certification activities, managing conflict of interest, and ensuring the objectivity of our management system certification activities.

We have established processes to identify, analyze, evaluate, treat, monitor, and document the risks related to conflict of interests arising from the provision of certification including any conflicts arising from our relationships on an ongoing basis.

Core Principles

  • Gcert.UK does not provide management system consultancy services.
  • We do not conduct internal audits for our certified clients.
  • Certification decisions are made by competent persons independent of the audit process.
  • Auditors are prohibited from auditing any organization where they have provided consultancy in the preceding two years.

Managing Conflicts of Interest

All personnel, internal and external, who could influence certification activities must act impartially. We require all personnel to reveal any situation known to them that may present them or the certification body with a conflict of interest. We shall not use personnel who have an unacceptable conflict of interest.

To ensure ongoing trust, Gcert.UK acts decisively in response to any threats to impartiality that arise from the actions of other persons, bodies or organizations.
